I began my career as a college English instructor, leading classes for first-year students to adult learners, including men and women in rural Alabama prisons. My commitment to helping others brought me to the nonprofit world where I’ve become instrumental in expanding organizations’ reach, diversifying their audiences, and increasing their audiences’ engagement.

I am inspired by art, good urban design, and a fresh pair of sneakers.
